Charges are expected to be filed against a 31-year old woman who appeared to be intoxicated when the Lexus she was driving collided with a Huntsville police cruiser. Both the woman and the police officer were taken to Huntsville hospital, treated for minor injuries and released. Police officers say the women admitted to drinking earlier in the day. According to www.whnt.com, “Police say their investigation revealed the officer was traveling at a normal rate of speed and had the green light when the driver of the Lexus failed to yield the right of way and turned in front of him.”
