Allen Michael Brown, age 25, was killed while working the evening shift at Federal-Mogul Corporation at around 9:30 Wednesday, June 24 when he was run over by a forklift driven by another unnamed individual. It appears that Brown may have gotten off the forklift in order to secure it’s cargo when the lift proceeded to drive over Brown. Police are interviewing the driver of the forklift as well as management to try to determine the cause of the accident which happened at the Federal-Mogul Corporation on Freeman Avenue in Athens Alabama. While the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, according to Athens police, foul play is not suspected.
